Welcome to ElRoi Pay. By accessing or using our platform, mobile applications, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and One Health Global Technologies FZ-LLC and WASK Technologies (collectively, "ElRoi Pay," "we," "us," or "our").
To use ElRoi Pay, you must:
You must create an account to use ElRoi Pay Services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate and current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
ElRoi Pay operates under a tiered KYC system. Access to certain features and transaction limits depends on your KYC tier. You agree to provide government-issued identification, proof of address, biometric data, and other documents as required for verification.
ElRoi Pay provides multi-rail payment infrastructure including wallet services, mobile money integration, bank account linking, QR code payments, merchant payment acceptance, cross-border transfers, and peer-to-peer payments.
Subject to eligibility, we offer Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services. Credit limits are determined based on KYC tier, credit score, transaction history, and alternative verification methods (employment verification, social guarantor, savings collateral). All credit services are subject to separate credit terms.
We offer savings goals, Susu group savings, and interest-bearing accounts. Savings products are subject to specific terms and conditions provided at the time of enrollment.
Merchants can accept payments via QR codes, payment links, invoices, SoftPOS (NFC tap-to-pay), and location-based QR codes. Merchant accounts are subject to additional terms and fee schedules.
ElRoi Pay charges fees for certain services. Applicable fees include:

You agree not to:
Transaction limits vary based on your KYC tier, account history, and regulatory requirements. We reserve the right to impose additional limits, delay transactions, or request additional verification for security or compliance purposes. Limits may be adjusted without prior notice to comply with regulatory changes.
BNPL services are subject to credit approval. We may deny credit at our sole discretion. Credit limits are determined based on multiple factors and may be adjusted over time.
You agree to repay all BNPL purchases according to the payment schedule. Late payments incur fees and negatively impact your credit score. Failure to repay may result in account suspension, debt collection, and legal action.
If you serve as a guarantor for another user, you accept responsibility for their debt if they default. Your credit score will be affected by the guaranteed user's payment behavior. You may withdraw as guarantor after the current payment plan completes.
If you use savings as collateral for BNPL, you authorize us to deduct outstanding amounts from your savings goals in the event of default. You will be notified before such deduction occurs.
If you dispute a transaction, you must notify us within 60 days. We will investigate and respond within 30 days. For merchant disputes, we may reverse transactions and charge merchants a chargeback fee. Our decision in disputes is final unless you pursue legal remedies.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, fail to complete KYC verification, have excessive chargebacks or disputes, or if required by law or regulatory authorities.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. You remain responsible for all outstanding obligations, including BNPL repayments and pending transactions.
Upon termination, your access to Services will cease. We will return any remaining balance after deducting outstanding fees and obligations. We may retain your information as required by law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELROI PAY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid to ElRoi Pay in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ElRoi Pay, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on ElRoi Pay are owned by or licensed to us. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission. The ElRoi Pay name, logo, and "The Infrastructure That Sees Africa" tagline are protected trademarks.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdictions in which ElRoi Pay operates, including Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, and the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where you reside or where the transaction occurred.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of ElRoi Pay after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
